And which one do you feel most yours?

Have you ever had a "bad day" when you didn't even want to get dressed?

Or, have you ever felt perfectly at ease because you were wearing your favorite dress?

Studies by Karen Pine, a professor of psychology at the University of Hertfordshire and a fashion psychologist, show that clothes affect both how we are perceived by others and, above all,

how they reflect and influence ourselves.

Also, Pine says it's also our own mood that influences the choice of our outfits; this, in fact, is never accidental, but rather reflects our desire to express or not a side of ourselves. Another central aspect of Karen Pine's studio is the fact that the way we choose our outfits affects our self-esteem.

"Many women who participated in our study changed their mood after changing clothes.

This would demonstrate the psychological power of clothing and how the right dress can also make us happy." (Karen Pine)
